Designed as a lean and aggressive racing machine, the 2003, R 1100 S Replika epitomizes BMW's racing heritage. Commemorating the BMW Motorrad International BoxerCup, owners of a Replika motorcycle will receive a special Owner's Kit which includes a serialized identification number and certificate of authenticity.
Underscoring the "form follows function" philosophy of the R 1100 S, the Replika is stripped down and race-ready. Painted in the official Pacific Blue/Alpine White BoxerCup motif, the Replika also features Randy Mamola's signature as well as official sponsor graphics from the International BoxerCup.
Powered by a 98 bhp Boxer engine, the BoxerCup Replika has a number of unique features that distinguish it from the production R 1100 S. It is equipped with a carbon fiber spoiler, powder-coated wheels, carbon fiber cylinder head covers, a rear seat cowl and a 5.5 in. rear wheel. Add to this a special sport suspension and the BoxerCup Replika is sure to quicken pulses wherever it goes.
